I offer one-to-one workshops in the following areas :

  • North Pennines

  • Lake District

  • Northumberland Coast

    With all these areas available, we are spoilt for choice on locations from coastal to woodlands and rivers, mountains and lakes. In the Lakes, we have fantastic areas like The Borrowdale Valley where there are numerous places to shoot all relatively close together. In the North Pennines, which are local to me, we have beautiful woodlands and rivers like the River Gelt. Last but not least, there is the stunning Northumberland Coast on which you have: Bamburgh Castle, Dunstanburgh Castle and Lindisfarne all in close proximity with numerous opportunities for composition.

Recommended Gear:

  • Camera and lenses.

  • Filters (Although I will have Kase Demo Kits for you to try upon request).

  • Shutter release cable (although not essential).

  • Batteries.

  • Tripod.

  • Memory cards.

  • Walking boots or wellies (preferably).

  • Waterproof jacket (just in case).

What we will cover:

  • Use of Filters.

  • Composition.

  • Basic Settings.

  • Use of available light and reacting to the conditions.
