TRANQUILLITY
Along part of the west highland way that runs along the shoreline of Loch Lomond, I discovered this beautiful little scene surrounded by ferns and moss in the ancient woodland. I stood there for a while fascinated by the water flow and tranquillity of the scene before me. I noticed that there would be an issue with capturing the image in one shot and that was the movement of the ferns as the water flowed. So in order to create the best image possible, I took one shot at a faster shutter speed for the foliage and then a second shot at a slower shutter speed for the water and then combined the two to get this final result.
